Our cruise from
Cocoa Village today took us past
Cape Canaveral's west side, past
Sharps,
Port St. John and Titusville, FL. We took on 100 gallons of fuel at
Titusville and continued past
Mims, under the bascule bridge at
Allenhurst and into
Mosquito Lagoon. Small town places
Oak Hill,
Bethune Beach and
Edgewater slid behind us off our port side as we approached
New Smyrna Beach, FL. Passing under the George Musson Memorial Bridge,
Viridian carried us up the Indian River north to the Rockhouse River. Turning to starboard, we dropped the hook in 8 feet of water with two sailboats and have a view of the Ponce de Leon Inlet out our front window.
Not any views today since we had to travel with our bimini zipped up due to the cold, strong north wind. Not good for taking pictures through. However, check out some history of the interesting places we passed today by clicking on the live links in the above paragraph.
