Our stay at Half Moon Bay was one of the highlights of our trip
so far. Glad to be able to experience NYC and all that goes with it but also glad to be moving north
towards the Great Lakes and Canada.
Today we cruised from Half Moon Bay to Kingston, NY. We sailed past West Point and caught the flood tide that took us all the way to Kingston at a little over 10 mph. Viridian sailed west up the Rondout Creek and came to rest on the free dock directly in front of the Ole Savanna Southern Table and Bar Restaurant. Since the dockage was free, we had a great supper of smoked ribs and all the fixings. The crew of r-Pad docked in front of us, and we had good company, good food and good weather.
