Rainy day at Grand Harbor

The forecast called for rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours, but first, Meg and I took a good brisk walk up and down the hills around the marina and helped other arriving Loopers get into their slips.  It was also a fine day to turn 60.  Got calls from my brother and sisters and texts from the boys wishing me a happy birthday!

We ate hot dogs from the marina store for lunch and had roasted chicken breast wrapped in bacon, fresh summer creamed corn and cracked pepper brussel sprout for supper.  In between meals I helped Captain Mike of Dash Away set up his blog so he could get to post his adventure online and Meg organized our clothes storage so it made easier to manage.  Tonight Meg said we would find some way to watch the next series of Poldark even if we had to walk up to the condos and turn on the TV in the exercise room to do it.

That's the news and here's the views:

Red in the morning and sailors.....??

 Packed in the marina

Chilling out on the fly bridge waiting on the rain

Good day to be tied to a cleat

Birthday Supper.. Let's EAT!
