Shopping Day

After a cold front passed bringing wind, rain and cooler temperatures, we woke to a foggy, windy, wet morning.  Grand Harbor was a great place to wait on our UPS package containing our new driver’s licenses and a property tax bill. (Sigh).  We helped a few fellow Loopers untie and clear the docks and sent them on their way south on the Tenn-Tom Waterway.

The cold, windy day turned into a sunny, windy day and the perfect time to grab the loaner car and drive into Corinth, MS to re-provision and shop.  Corinth had some really cute stores in the downtown area.  Our first stop was Shirley's Dawgs.  She's a Mississippi State fan!  It was full of trendy t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets.  I realized from seeing fellow women Loopers that I needed a cute sweatshirt to throw on in the cool mornings so George said, "Get whatever you want."."
😉

That's the news and here's the views:

Tomorrow we will head South and anchor in a nice slough behind Whitten Lock in an area known as 5 Fingers.
