Today we cruised downriver to Peoria, IL and docked at National Marina. It is probably one of the top 5 worst marinas along the way. The staff is friendly and helpful but the marina looks like a dystopia scene after a nuclear war.
At least we are tied up to a sound dock. If the river rises overnight we will be able to float out instead of plow out through the silt.

Saw the weather forecast for flash flooding in the river systems from the remains of Gordon. Hope you find someplace safe to tie up to wait it out.
